Roxane Revon is a director, actress and drama teacher. She studied philosophy at La Sorbonne University in Paris and studied theater at HB Studio and Yale University. She acted in L’Hôtel du libre échange by G. Feydeau with ATQL company in Paris. Now based in New York, she performed in Voix de femmes presented at the UN, Huis Clos, Keep clam and carry on, Living Room at the New York Theatre Globe. She worked with “the Play Company”, “Transatlantique Co.”, “Dell’Arte Opera” and “Roots and Wings Co.”, with whom she directed Two shall meet and Menteurs. She also assisted Opera directors such as Knud Adams (Carmen) and Heidi Lauren Duke (Butterfly’s Trouble). She is the artistic director of “Diffractions Theatre Company” and directed Huis Clos/No Exit by Sartre, Le Poisson Rouge by S. Grassian, The Bald Soprano by Ionesco, and Les Précieuses ridicules by Molière at the 4th Street Theatre. She was a member of the PD Unit of the Actors Studio in 2014 and directed Madwomen of Chaillot by J. Giraudoux with Actors Studio members. She teaches drama at John Jay College and L’Atelier Théâtre in New York.
